The Fourth Annual Arcadia Cares: Food for Kidz Packathon is set for Saturday, March 24, 2018. The event is set for 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church to assemble dried food packets. There will be one hour or longer shifts for assembling dried food packets will be available for large or small groups, as well as individuals. Ages 3 on up are welcome to participate in this fun community event.
Many of the food packets assembled will be sent to Phoenix area food banks for distribution to needy families. Plan on putting this event on the calendar for your Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, Brownies, Daisies, Cub Scouts, Service Club, Church Group, Book Club, Sports Team – it’s a great opportunity to make a difference for hungry kids, families and individuals in our neighborhood.
